The 17th-century canals of Amsterdam and the 19–20th century Defence Line of Amsterdam are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Amsterdam is financial and business capital of the Netherlands. Amsterdam is presently one of the best European cities which to locate an international business. It is ranked fifth in this category and is only surpassed by London, Paris, Frankfurt and Barcelona the Port of Amsterdam is the fourth largest port in Europe, the 38th largest port in the world and the second largest port in the Netherlands by metric tons of cargo. Amsterdam has the biggest cruise port in the Netherlands with more than 150 cruise ships every year.
